José Ángel Salazar Marín

The 24-years-old, José Angel Salazar Marín is a prominent young conductor. Despite his short age, he has vast experience in the approach of different repertoire and varied programming.

Being educated in El Sistema, Jose Angel Salazar Marin began his career in his natal Venezuela engaged both as a guest conductor and main conductor for different ensembles. He has taken several conducting masterclasses and opportunities in Austria, Italy and Sweden, and currently works as Artistic Director and Conductor of El Sistema Greece and its youth orchestra, performing and programming concerts in the most prestigious concert venues and festivals in Greece.
