These are the inspiration models corresponding to Africa: Adw Art – Conservatoire de Musique Gratuit, Tunisian Symphonic Orchestra, Instituto Superior de Música de Tunis and Proyecto Elab – Tunis, which are driven by the ideology and principles of our founding director, conforming, within of its own nature, in application spaces for music education, based on the teaching methodology of El Sistema that seeks its own social and artistic result at a national and international level.

Tunisia
1. Adw Art – Conservatoire de Musique Gratuit
It is a project that aims to promote music education in Tunisia, by establishing 2 free conservatories in disadvantaged neighborhoods in the suburbs of Tunis and Kef.
Currently, they serve about 250 children from these 2 cities who have the opportunity to access quality music education, until now, beyond their reach, which includes group lessons in Music Theory, individual lessons to learn and practice instruments with the guitar. , violin, piano, drums and finally, master class.
In 2019, El Sistema made an exploratory visit to Tunisia and held meetings with this project, in order to establish relations of cooperation, solidarity and complementarity.
2. Tunisian Symphonic Orchestra
It is the National Symphony Orchestra of Tunisia. It was established in 1969 by the Ministry of Culture.
The purpose of its creation was to have access to the masterpieces of international classical music.
The orchestra invites internationally renowned soloists and conductors to participate in its monthly concerts that take place in the Municipal Theater of the city of Tunis or in one of the cultural centers of the capital.
3. Instituto Superior de Música de Túnez
Ikbal Hamzaoui, is the director of the department of musicology and professor of piano and ethnomusicology.
The study regime ranges from bachelor’s, master’s to doctorate; and it is a mixture of the conservatory system with the courses of music theory, instruments and musical analysis and also of university with subjects related to musicology and musical research.
4. Proyecto Elab – Túnez
It is a new project, which is very interested in replicating the teaching model of El Sistema in Tunisia. They had a first contact with them during the exploratory visit to Tunisia in 2019.
