Clinical psychologist, feminist, expert in management of social projects and Magister Scientiarum in Women’s Studies. She is an activist for women’s human rights with more than 16 years of work in research, coordination and project management with a gender perspective.
University professor in Women’s Studies at the Central University of Venezuela, with extensive experience in training professional teams in matters of gender, sexual and reproductive health, violence against women and HIV.
She has extensive experience in advocacy on public policies at the national level, with awards granted by the Central University of Venezuela and the Municipal Council of Sucre of the Miranda State for her work in the prevention and care of violence against women in the country.
She has published several articles on sexual and reproductive health and violence against women in national peer-reviewed magazines. She has developed care manuals on violence against women and sexual violence and has publications of various investigations prepared with the support of Unicef, Unifem (now ONUMwomen), UNFPA and the European Union.
